The central character is young Jake Djones, who, along with his friends Nathan and Topaz, races against time to thwart the villain's plans.

Alongside the mission to save history, a deeply personal quest drives Jake: he is determined to find his long-lost brother, Philip, and uncover the truth behind his disappearance, with the possibility of a reunion at the heart of the battle.
